A variety of methods can be used to extract CBD from the hemp flower to produce a hemp oil product. It’s important to look for a brand that’s transparent about its extraction methods. Are any hexane or GMO solvents used? What type of carrier oil is blended with the hemp extract? Is the oil organic, and does it enhance the absorption of the hemp CBD as does organic MCT oil? Are there additives such as natural flavors or GMO ingredients? Does the seller provide third-party product testing?

Did you know?

There has been a lot of information and misinformation going around and surrounding Hemp and or CBD.  So, what the Hemp is really going on?

The family name is Cannabis, and falling under this is the Marijuana plant and the cousin, the Hemp plant.  Marijuana contains a large amount of THC and a small amount of CBD (Tetrahydrocannabinol- causes the sensation of getting “high” that’s often associated with marijuana). However, unlike THC, CBD is not psychoactive.  Hemp contains a large amount of CBD and only trace amounts of THC.  You cannot get high from ingesting hemp.  Hemp in its natural form, contains more than 100 cannabinoids, including CBD.  Extracting the oil from the Hemp plant (more…)
